SimpleAds node title gets removed

Using this module for like 4 months now and having this issue since the day one. But i was ignoring it. But now client has mentioned this again and i have to fix this asap.
Title of the simpleads node gets removed after some days they were created. It very annoying specially when you have a large number of ads on site and have to edit them all after some days to add their title back again.0
I think it has something to do with stats update. stats for every ad takes 24 hours to update and after that the title gets removed. (That's what i think.) And yeah i don't want to update it to 1.9 as on that version, it don't update stats of ads. This module has like tons of bugs. I am using it more than 4 months now and facing news issue each time.
