Rules Integration

I'm curious as to how I can make the URL of an ECK entity available to Rules, as well as the Edit Url, as is provided by Nodes.

I imagine it could have something to do with 'Adding properties to an entity type' (https://www.drupal.org/node/1368134), but I'm confounded as to why these aren't default ECK properties.

Any advice?
