Building my first drupal 8 site today, i wanted to add a taxonomy reference field with a select list widget. However, to my surprise there appears to be only the autocomplete widget.

Are the select list/radio/checkbox widgets really gone in drupal 8 or am i missing something? And if they are really gone, is anybody aware of a module providing these widgets for 8?

Turned out i wasn't paying attention. You apparently cannot select a widget when adding a reference field, but you can change widgets in the "Manage form display" tab.

Thank you so much! I was also looking for the Select List widget and couldn't find it until I read this post.
