Basically, I can't change the jquery version.

When I change the Default jQuery Version in the dropdown on the admin/config/development/jquery_update page, and click save, the page refreshes, but it still shows the old version.

The site is currently on 1.5 and no matter which version of jquery I select, it always reverts upon clicking save.

Any help appreciated. I don't know if this is a known issue, or something really bizarre, but I can't find anything about it.

It's likely set in the site's settings[.local].php file, which will always override a database set value.

Actually, we could make this a little more obvious by doing a simple DB/conf check to see if it's being overridden and then instructions on how to change it.
