Hello,

I am looking for this module in Drupal 8 core but can't find it in the module list. Am I missing something? I need it to format the 'Telephone' module now included in D8 core. As it stands, I am unable to specify an entry format for a telephone field and am looking for elements to do this as specified in the help documentation.

Just hopefully answering lilbebel's question for others who come to this page. In Drupal 8 the placeholder text feature can be found in the manage form display section of each custom field in your content type by clicking on the edit or "cog" icon.
