zengenuity CreditAttribution: zengenuity at Zengenuity commentedI don't currently have need for a D8 version of this module, so I won't be able to devote any time to it for the foreseeable future. There are other solutions for doing image galleries on D8, and with the media module coming to core, it may not make sense for most people to use nodes for galleries anyway.
All that said, if someone is interested Node Gallery porting it and becoming the D8 maintainer for it, I'm open to that.

RobertoGuzman CreditAttribution: RobertoGuzman commentedHi zengenuity, you right regarding the features in Drupal 8 about the media entity module in the core.
But in my scenario, i have 2 types of content, 1, Gallery as category, and 2, Media as a images, this works ok for my case. But my issue is, i just can upload one image at once
What i'm looking is how to upload multi images per gallery at once.
I would like to know from your own knowledge and experience if could be any solution in Drupal 8

manne35 CreditAttribution: manne35 commentedIs there a possibility to take over the content from drupal 7 node gallery to a drupal 8 gallery ?
Or is it better to try backdrop cms if this is important ?

RickJ CreditAttribution: RickJ commentedI anticipate attempting a port of this module to D8 at some point next year. I use it on a couple of sites, and I find it better than any of the other gallery modules. In particular I have created galleries of other document types, not just images, for which it is brilliant. I've made quite a few local patches for my own needs - probably should post some as issues.
My D7 sites use a lot of modules (one a LOT of modules!), as well as customisations, and migrating is not going to be easy, but will need to be done at some point. Many modules are either still in alpha stage for D8, or have no migration path. :-( I think I may be doing quite a lot of coding.
I still haven't read up how to structure a D8 module yet, so plenty of learning to do!

denizserhat CreditAttribution: denizserhat commentedThe node gallery is quite similar to Drupal 8 Core Media but it does not replace the node gallery. I'm trying to do the same with drupal core media and I have not done it yet.
Navigate back and forth through all media items of a node
I have added to Node content some media items from media type image (I have, also, added some other fields like body text, vote, tags, maps etc to media type image) and I show on the node content only the image and the title of them in grid form (manage display rendered entitiy default). When someone clicks the title and image of the media item, it appears one media item full (altogehter with the rest of the field -media type manage display full content-). Αnd I would like to show the other media items to that node content I have added, below or above of one media item (either in gallery or a a pager). I don’t want the visitor to go back to node content each time in order to see the rest of the items. How I can do this?
