Good idea.

I have written a custom services integration for a client, but it would need quite a bit of work to extend to general use cases.

Basically you would need to create a couple of custom service resources, one to provide voting options and metadata for a poll, and one to handle vote submissions.

This isn't something I have time to work on right now. I'd welcome any patches!
