Backdrop Port [#2605106]

Hello
Backdrop CMS is a fork of Drupal which is gaining popularity. It includes Token module in core and there is a plan to include some functionality in your module into core as well. This is to let you know about this development and to ask if you would be able please to participate in the discussion and help out with this port. The issues is here:

Unfortunately, I don't have enough resources to participate in this process. But I hope you'll succeed to take the code from the module and adapt it for Backdrop.
