Why do I still get these notifications that I need to update my kickstart?
I have the latest one, is that a bug?

Commerce Kickstart is an install profile and so sometimes it gets out of sync with the latest and greatest versions of Drupal. You'll need to wait for the distro to be updated and sometimes it can take a few weeks for it to get updated with the latest vertsion.
