End date settings per field instance

Hi,

I just discovered (tell if I'm wrong) that one can't have different settings - like having an (required) end date or not - accorss multiple field instances.

I saw that this was done for the "All day" option: https://www.drupal.org/node/1252952

Is there a way I could configure different settings on different field instances?
