I couldn't find Panels module for Drupal 6. Is there such a thing, or something similar, so I can begin to work on my front page? :)

If not, is there an alternate solution for multiple blocks on front page?

panels has not been ported to Drupal 6 yet and there is no alterative module that does what panels does.

as for when panels may be ported check the issue query of the module for issues already filed.
