Hi,

I've looked through the issue queue but can't seem to find an answer to the following. Apologies if this isn't relevant to the MailChimp module and belongs somewhere else.

Is there any way to pass on the email address a user enters into the MailChimp signup block to the Drupal user account registration page? This is something that's used on a lot of sites; there will be a simple block, usually in a site's footer, that asks for a user's email address, then redirects to a longer signup form to prompt for more details. There's an example in the footer of this site: http://www.mytheresa.com (just asks for further newsletter sign up details vs registering an account on the site).

Even if the email address can't be passed to the user registration page, is there another way that a kind of "multi step" form could be set up that still subscribes the user to MailChimp as soon as they enter their email address, but is then able to pass that address on to another form to get more details?

Thanks.

Not currently, but this would be a valid feature request.

We're going to be ending support for the 7.x-3.x branch due to the upcoming deprecation of the v2.0 MailChimp API. If you're still interested in this feature, please feel free to reopen for the 7.x-4.x branch.
