Hi everyone,
I'm newbie in here. I have some experience with WordPress, I know something about web design, CSS, HTML and PHP. But I don't know how to learn Drupal the right way. Can anyone give me an advice?

Before learning Drupal module development, it's best to learn how to use Drupal and its various modules. Then you can fill in the gaps with your own module development.

Personally, I started with a book first on building websites with Drupal, then other books on developing modules in Drupal.

As the question posed has nothing to do with theme development, please edit the opening post and move to the 'general discussion' forum. Thank you.

Specific recommendations:
- Using Drupal - third edition is about to come out - http://usingdrupal.com/ This will give you an excellent overview of how the whole platform works, and some specific build examples to follow along with
- Drupal module building tutorial and general info here: https://www.drupal.org/module-development
- Pro Drupal 7 Development (Tomlinson) - http://www.amazon.com/Drupal-Development-Experts-Voice-Source/dp/1430228385

VideoDrupal.org is a new free resource for the Drupal community and anyone who wants to start learning Drupal with more than 4000 videos only about Drupal.

The site has a special Drupal video learning section with amazing playlists to learn Drupal site building, to learn Drupal theming but also to learn Drupal module development.

Happy learning!
