I upgraded pathauto a few hours ago and ever since, I get errors in my logs where each URL has a square bracket attached to whatever URL/page has been hit. Taxonomy topics suffer the same.

It doesn't matter if there's a referrer or not, even the domain itself without a referrer will show up in the logs with a square bracket.

This slows down the front page loading until it times out. I can not find where this appears but if I turn pathauto off, the problem goes away.

I have deleted the 1.3 Pathauto module, cleared cache, and then installed back to the older version of pathauto.

I still have the stray ] bracket appearing on every URL issue. I think we can assume it's not caused by Pathauto.
