If you have this module installed along with the Search API Views module (which is very likely, of course) and create an index of item type "Multiple types", you will get lots of log messages like the following:

SearchApiException: Could not determine the active index of the datasource. in SearchApiCombinedEntityDataSourceController->getCallingIndex() (line 308 of …/sites/all/modules/search_api/includes/datasource_multiple.inc).

And most (or all) of your multi-index search views will stop working.
