I apologize if I missed this functionality somewhere. I did not find the ability to manage metatag attributes (disable default metatag attributes, add custom metatag attributes, etc). This can be really beneficial for deploying custom fields needed for specific analytics packages.
Ideally, this would respect CMI and be exportable such that attributes and their settings are deployable between environments.

DamienMcKennaAdding new meta tags is different to hiding existing ones. To create new meta tags you have to create a meta tag plugin. To hide existing ones you need to use core's hook_form_alter to hide the fields. We'll eventually get to documentation ;)
