Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
Scenario: During presentations I see interesting modules which I didn't knew about previously. It would be nice to be able to somehow bookmark those for later further investigation. I know there's a browser function for that, but it's really out of context.
Solution: Be able to "star" a project in a manner similar to Github and have a page in my profile to show my starred projects.
Apologies if this was already suggested before, tried to check in the issue queue.

frederickjh#2773821: Add star/vote to mark module/theme is a duplicate of this.
I giving this a +1 from my side. I have wanted this feature on drupal.org for ages. I want to be able to star module and themes and users. I would also like a place where I can see a list of my stars and then filter them on pertinent data such as Drupal version.
Github and other social coding sites have had this feature for quite some time. I am suprise that it was never added to drupal.org as finding your way through all the modules and themes can be quite challenging some times. I now have a spreadsheet with modules and themes so I can find the ones that I want.
Too sad when users need to turn else where to get the functionality that could be part of the site. I would also be another indicator that people can use when deciding whether or not to use a module.
Thanks for taking another look at this feature for possible inclusion on drupal.org!
