Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.When enabling the brightcove module I was receiving a "Field Exception: Attempt to create a field of unknown type brightcove_field" error. After some investigation I found that the field cache is not being cleared before trying to add the new field.
Patch attached, which fixed the error for me and allowed the field to be created.
