Anyone? Bueller?

Ok, first of all, I'm new at this and second, I'm not a developer. I have to say the documentation on "referencing and / or query use" (and most other documentation) is most assuredly meant for developers, because I can't make heads nor tails of it. Here's what I'm trying to do:

I have a taxonomy "Brand" which lists all brand names;
I have a "reference view" called Products by Brand;
I have added a viewref field to content type Book Page;
I have added a "Brand" field to content type Book Page;
I selected the "Brand" on the appropriate brand Book Page;

All I want to do is show all products by brand on the appropriate brand's book page. I'm assuming the "viewref" field on the book page should be the Reference View I defined for the field, which is an autocomplete field, but when I type the name of the view (Products by Brand) it doesn't find it?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm not that familiar with the viewref module, but some basic things to check out:

  • Is the Products by Brand view actually enabled?
  • Couldn't find out if the viewref module actually requires a particular type of display (page/block/....)?
  • Are other views listed? Maybe they are listed by machine name instead of readable name?

Good luck!
