Yes! I did read the other forum topics on this site and searched google for an answer but no resolution was found.
We don't for some reason have ssh to the server so I'm stuck updating the site manually.
I used the process drupal explains here: update drupal
Quick synopsis:
- Backup
- Maintenance mode
- Delete old files on server (not /sites)
- Copy in NEW files
- Run update.php
- Take out of Maintenance mode
There were NO errors when the update finished. No issues with the site. But when I check in the admin (under available updates) it still says it's running 6.3.5 and that 6.3.7 is the recommended update.
Please help!

Somewhat of a long shot, but did you clear all cache after running update.php?
Beyond that I'd either need to be on your server or have to start suggesting non-standard methods for update. One example:
Remove the existing directory completely
Restore from backup
Unpack the 6.3.7 core tarball somewhere
Copy it (w/ overwrite) onto the restored site
{Make sure to manually overwrite the pesky read only files.}
(For good measure update settings.php for "$update_free_access = TRUE;"} [1]
Give the update another shot . . .
Also check "error_log" in your root Drupal directory.
Best,
Michael
