How does this module differ from https://www.drupal.org/project/bigvideo? Is there no chance of working together rather than create separate modules?

Thanks for your question!

My module does not require any dependencies, like BigVideo module:

  • 3 additional modules
  • 2 additional libraries
  • or BigVideo installation profile

Also Video Background module provides some settings for video (sound, looping etc).
It is fast, reliable, and lightweight solution for the developer.

Plus, I couldn't add video file for background through BigVideo module! :(
