In Biblio setting there is an option to hide braces in titles.
Retain bibtex's {Protected} capitalization in the title string, but hide the braces on display
And it works in Publication page and the publication itself (detail page).

But unfortunately, the view that's added by biblio module aka 'biblio-views' does not support the above setting.
It simply shows braces in titles.

Example:
I want the titles displayed from this:
Assessing and Refining Mappings to {RDF} to Improve Dataset Quality.

To:
Assessing and Refining Mappings to RDF to Improve Dataset Quality.

Had a related issue.
Turns out that some of my entries had double braces.
You can check that by downloading the bib-file of a entry and check if the title looks like this:
Assessing and Refining Mappings to {{RDF}} to Improve Dataset Quality.
Bibtex seems to do this properly, the view only removes one 'layer' of braces.
