Can I use this to place system files into the media library? [#2563755]

If I upload the site logo, can I use this module to place it in the media folder?
Other modules add files to system/files
Can I use this module to move them to the media library?

Media library adds a property to file entities which designates if they are part of a "media library" or not. It also provides various settings and UIs for changing the status of the property.

All other functionality is provided by the File Entity and Media modules.
