I upgraded to the latest distribution of commerce kickstart 7.x-2.28 (I use Pantheon to host). Shortly afterward I received the following warning/error message:
Not supported!error Commerce Kickstart 7.x-2.28 Recommended version: 7.x-2.28 (2015-Aug-20)
Download Release notes Distro Update Manager: commerce_shipping version 7.x-2.1 does not match .make file version 7.x-2.2 from commerce_kickstart. Includes: Commerce Kickstart
Is there an action on my part that I overlooked to address this discrepancy in the .make file? Or is there another distribution in the pipeline that will fix this?
Thanks, Karen

This is showing up as a security risk, so is there any way to fix this? I am not an experienced developer, so I'm nervous to change anything that affects the .make file.
Thanks!

mglamanPhysical module had some funk, too. Linking. Might have just been a packaging hiccup

mglamanCan you disable the "distro_update" module to see if its just an issue with that component?

korlandi CreditAttribution: korlandi commentedSweet! Turning it off seems to have turned off the security warning. What will be the consequences to turning off that module (I inherited this site)?
Thanks for the help!

mglamanSo distro_update is a module that tries to "mask" contributed project updates so that people don't upgrade them out of sync with the distribution. It's OK to disable it.
Putting back to active since we know it's a culprit.

korlandi CreditAttribution: korlandi commentedOK. Thanks!! I'll try to ignore any kickstart-managed modules that report upgrades available. I think/hope this fix may also help me with the Commerce Feeds module issue, as I was getting blocked during my attempts to upgrade to the dev version. Muchas Gracias!

mglamanShould be fixed by #2596061: .make file warning with update to 7.x-2.29 for next release.
