I was trying to see if I could delete every state since I don't really need this feature in my implementation and it resulted in the following message:
Fatal error: Call to a member function identifier() on a non-object in x:\MySite\sites\all\modules\registration\includes\registration.forms.inc on line 145
I think there needs to be some protection in order to prevent this as well as a way to remove the display of the State dropdown in the form when there is only one state defined.

dpiI believe Registration has an internal requirement on at least one state existing. See #2485043: Old registration types do not have default state and cause registration form to crash
