The FooTheme page states, "To use Footheme you first need to stall its dependencies: Any one of:" corolla, sky, picture_reloaded, or at-commerce. I had sky installed along with the adaptive, but it was still generating a stack of errors. Installed corolla and all is well. I guess since FooTheme is a sub-theme of corolla, it NEEDS corolla.

Well, it only needs Corolla because that is the theme it is configured to use out of the box, however you can change it to use any theme as a base theme, thats the major point of the project.
