The current Search API Solr Search has only the config files up to 4.x. The newest release includes the 5.x config files and so far works without any issues.

I also double checked to see if the Search API Solr Search module included with Panopoly had any custom patches, and it doesn't so the update will thankfully be easy.

This was already done #2500307: Update search_api to 1.15 and search_api_solr to 1.8

It's in the latest Panopoly -dev, and will be included in the next release.
