Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
As requested by the release notes for this new 2015 version,
I installed select_or_other (did not configure it in given fields, left it as is),
I installed metatag (added some settings, but not for Facebook or OpenGraph),
I inserted this new version of the module and ran the Drupal Update with success.
Afterwards, trying to edit or post nodes gave a white-screen-of-death and the source code read "1" (only).
So I did a "rollback" (re-inserted the database by hand).

While on the subject of this new version, I would like to add a secondary issue:
- will the node editing/posting interface integrate properly unlike the previous D7 version (it appears at the very bottom under the Preview Submit buttons).
nb: I presume this new version, by definition, still allows us to override the default OG:tags per node (mainly title|desc|image). It's obvious I guess, but somehow I was worried by the release notes.
