On the latest Drupal Beta 14 and Features 8.x-3.0-alpha2 I:

1. Created a new basic content type.
2. Added the content type to a feature.
3. Added the feature to an install profile.
4. Reinstalled the site.

Site install failed because of an unmet dependency within the feature.

menu_ui was a dependency in node.type.[type].yml but it was not set in [module].info.yml.

The module dependencies don't appear to be adding automatically.
