I think the addition of 3.x in the path messed up a lot of link, about 20.

You can use http://www.brokenlinkcheck.com/broken-links.php or https://validator.w3.org/checklink?uri=https%3A%2F%2Faegir.readthedocs.o... to generate an up-to-date list. (couldn't find a checker that gave me copy-pastable HTML...).

Note that I fixed one (or tried to) in https://github.com/aegir-project/documentation/pull/8

I'm getting the feeling the url's keep changing :(

One disadvantage of using a hosted thing ... not being able to add an extra htaccess rewrite rule :(

PS: I've merged your PR and given you push access.

I think I marked the wrong issue as fixed, this is still active.

I'll probably get on it soon-ish.

I just noticed that the "post slides/screencasts" link on http://docs.aegirproject.org/en/3.x/community/ is broken ... It seems that we still have to create a new page for that.

The previous list is still on http://community.aegirproject.org/videos/index.html ... you just have to expand the menu tree.

I started a page for this in our documentation repo.

Did we officially switch to docs.aegirproject.org ? If so we really need to change the links on community (which is still linked on aegirproject.org) and the IRC channel's message.

Looks like that was done.

I just discovered a couple of things I'm not sure how to fix:

As mentioned in today's scrum, though they both point to the same repo, the official URL for the documentation is http://docs.aegirproject.org

I fixed the links on the community archive and in the topic in #aegir.

I've fixed the links as best I could, see this commit and the five after that. I removed some of the old links, mostly ones that pertain to Community.

One thing that I don't know what do to with is the devseed blog. The aegir blog link has disappeared. I think we should remove it since they don't seem to be blogging about aegir at all. For now I just set it to link to their blogs but it makes little sense.

I removed a few links to blip.tv (seems renamed to maker.tv?), if anyone has a replacement:

  • DrupalCamp Montréal - Aegir - One Drupal to Rule them All! - Antoine Beaupré
  • Drupal Vancouver April meet - Automated Deployment with the Ægir Hosting System - Robin Puga
  • Drupal Melbourne Meet Oct - Introduction to the Aegir Hosting System - Miguel Jacq

I think this can be marked as fixed and we can open separate issues if needed.
