WhiteHouse.gov is apparently built on Drupal.

I got two e-mails this morning with responses to "We the People" petitions that I signed a long time ago. At the bottom of the e-mails is the text, "Tell us what you think about this response and We the People," with links that redirect to URLs of the form:

www.whitehouse.gov/petitions-form/tell-us-what-you-think-about-we-people-and-petition-response-<topic>

I completed and submitted both surveys. The result for both was a "404 Page Not Found" error! The error page included the text, "If you think that you have reached this page due to an error on our part, please let us know," with the words "let us know" linked to:

www.whitehouse.gov/contact

I clicked on that link on both result pages and nothing happened. I pasted that URL into a new browser window to confirm that the contact page is working, which it is. I did not bother sending anything from that page.

If someone here knows anyone in the Web development team at the White House, you might want to tell them that (a) their petition feedback survey and (b) the contact link on their 404 error page are both broken.

I'd classify that issue as a bug rather than the site being broken. Of note you can do a google search and locate the developers as well as the whitehouse.gov user here on drupal.org.
