I'd like to pass full ownership of this module on to a new maintainer.
In my opinion, the responsive images strategy employed by this module is no longer the state-of-the-art as the HTML picture element and srcset attribute have since gained a solid position, with picturefill as a great polyfill for older browsers. However, given the module's continuing popularity, and its activity in the issue queue, I understand that other people might disagree, or might have a vision for modernizing the module.
If you are interested in taking responsibility, please let us know here. Naturally, people who have worked in the issue queue will have an edge.

vuilOffering to maintain "Client-side adaptive image" for Drupal 8/9.
I wanted to offer my support in helping develop, maintain and manage stable releases of "Client-side adaptive image" module for Drupal 8/9. It would be useful to clear through the issues and make the necessary improvements and create a stable Drupal 9 release. Thank you in advance.
