I need to link to some external data sources in my D7 website. I've come across the SPARQL module for connecting to RDF endpoints. However, that module doesn't look like it's being developed or maintained. Odd, because this seems like the obvious direction of headless Drupal and all, with restful API's accessing remote data. Can anybody shed light on whether it's still a good idea to try to develop something with SPARQL? Also, how hard would it be to export some SPARQL-ready data from a SQL database? Or can anybody just explain why SPARQL is not being kept up?
Thanks!
Peter
