"Representative Node" relationship doesn't work while displaying multiple views

Representative Node relationship is creating problems when displaying multiple views on a panel page or displaying
multiple views (that each view has the same Representative node relationship) blocks on the same page.

Example Views

View 1: Taxonomy term list view with Representative Node relationship to pick one node for the taxonomy term and show the image of the node.

View 2: same view with different taxonomy term selected as filter

When placing these two views into a panels page, only the top view works. Same occurs when you create views blocks and display the blocks on a page.

Same problem doesn't occur when Representative Node relationship is changed to "Taxonomy Term: using .... specific taxonomy field"

There is definitely an issue with Representative Node relationships interfering with each other when views displayed on the same page or panel...
