It's difficult to tell just from looking at the D8 issues, can you tell us the status of the D8 version?

I see that there's not a "recommended" D8 version, but just wondering if the dev version is usable.

Thanks for a great module - been using it in D7 for a long time.

To answer your question the dev version has fatal errors right now and patches have been offered in a couple threads to cover those.
