After updating to the latest production release a custom plugin was missing. It appears that the update overwrote the entire plugin directory which caused the custom plugin to be deleted.

Updates always override the entire directory, there's nothing I can do about that.

You shouldn't be putting your plugins in the feeds_tamper module. You should put them in a custom module.
