Hi there i have installed this module and it is working but the images are not being shown as thumbnails. Screenshot attatched.

Visit the imagefield_gallery admin. There are two admin pages, not just the content types page. You must visit the admin page and save for it to take on the defaults. You can alter the defaults there.
