Parent Menu Item changing automatically after page Update

Hi,

I have an odd issue going on. For every user other than user1 (admin), when a page is updated, the Parent Menu Item is defaulted to "", thus creating a new menu tab for the page!

When user1 updates/edits a page, the Parent Menu Item comes up as the original chosen menu by default (which is the desired action).

Has anyone else run into this sort of thing?
