Hi Rik,

Another idea. I'm not sure if this is something that depends on the mapping library or if it's a function IP Geo V&M could do, but it would be really awesome if people can set their location by dragging the marker around the map.

I've checked the issue queue to see if this idea was filed before, I didn't see it yet so I think it's worth mentioning.

I'm glad you haven't fallen out of love with my module, yet.

Yes it would be awesome, especially since there are plenty of locations in the world that have no clear address.
Like that "fruit stand by the side of the road somewhere between two villages and 3 kms to the closest farm".
Those locations could greatly benefit from dragging a marker on the map, rather than using an address.

There are a couple of tools to set the location of nodes that way and they support border outlines (aka polygons) too.
There's one that comes with Geofield and there's https://www.drupal.org/project/leaflet_widget

But these widgets were not originally designed to set the user location.

Maybe they could be "re-wired" to do what you're after by someone clever...
