I would like to hire someone to get a basic site started that I can take over once the basics are there. There probably isn't anything fancy to what I need. Basically, I'm trying to make a support site for a software community for a certain product.

It would be nice to use the answers with user points module for general questions and a robust forum environment with hopefully a way of having notifications on forum responses for forum posts a user is following.

It would almost be a reproduction of this drupal.org site. This site supports the CMS software, Drupal. I want to build something similar for another type of software.

I would like to be able to easily submit articles/blogs, quick reference information and maybe quizzes, all with some kind of point system wherever possible to generate user interest (I figure points helps potential user egos come back to contribute more). Its all about getting the critical mass for the site to be relevant.

I'm open to themes, though I prefer themes similar to vbforums.com or androidforums.com. I don't have the funds to hire the major companies, but should be enough for an individual to earn some spending money.

Please PM me if you are interested, and if you have a reference site you can point me to, that would help as well.

Thanks.
Jeff

Thanks for all the replies (5 so far). I have replied to each, please forgive me if I missed anyone. When replying, if you are able to tell me what your hourly rate is and a (very) rough time estimate, that would be helpful so I can budget accordingly. If the estimate says "it would be at least n hours, but probably not more than x hours depending on what you ask for" that's reasonable. I'm not looking for a fixed price bid. This way if I do something stupid and ask for more work, you get paid more.

Thanks to all replies. I will try to acknowledge all who responded personally via email, but we believe we have found someone that can do the project for us.

I appreciate it.
