Hello,
When a user change its user name from his account settings I'd like to show the new user value in the notification email body. When I use the variable !user_name it is the old value, but how can I get the new value ?
Regards,

It is normally !username not
It is normally !username not !user_name. This is specific to D6, does not apply to D7. There is a user data object in the database in Drupal 6 and this can get stale data in it https://www.drupal.org/node/542844, but according to fago in https://www.drupal.org/node/337182 it is a bug. Are you using the most recent release of Drupal 6?
