I'm updating an old drupal 7 site.
I've first updated drupal core to 7.38.
I've now started to update contributed modules. I'm doing it by hand, one by one, running update.php after replacing the code in the modules folder;
c-tools (7.x-1.7)
views (7.x-3.11)
panels (7.x-3.5)
On update date (date-7.x-2.8, 4th module to update) I get the following;
Fatal error: view::destroy(): The script tried to execute a method or access a property of an incomplete object. Please ensure that the class definition "date_plugin_display_attachment" of the object you are trying to operate on was loaded _before_ unserialize() gets called or provide a __autoload() function to load the class definition in /home/xxx/xxx/sites/all/modules/views/includes/view.inc on line 1991
If I run update.php again I get the same error.
Can anyone suggest what I can do to resolve? - thanks.

RESOLVED - Fatal error updating drupal 7 site (date module)
Going into the site and re-saving views that contain fields using the date field appears to have fixed the issue.
Calendar view
This worked for me, too (re-saved the Calendar view).
