I haven't been able to mentor folks during core mentoring hours all year due to other obligations, and I wasn't as involved with planning the mentoring efforts at LA.
I'm not going anywhere but I need to be honest about my time and commitments, and it doesn't feel right to call myself a core mentoring lead at this time, so I'd like to be removed from that header in MAINTAINERS.txt.
Mentoring is really important to me, and I can easily say that it changed my life (extra special thanks to @xjm). I will still keep mentoring at events and in the issue queues, attend the monthly core mentoring meetings when possible, and be around for advising and ideas :)

xjmAw. :) Thank you @Cottser for everything you've done for mentoring (and your ongoing awesomeness for Drupal 8 in general). And thank you for your initiative, thoughtfulness, and positive outlook, and for always having a smile. Also glad to hear you'll still be around.

cilefen CreditAttribution: cilefen commented@Cottser You are a super-nice person and that shows in the way mentoring is conducted. I am glad the reason is that your are simply busy on more Drupal stuff and that the community continues to benefit from your talents.
