It would be perfect if we have an option for approval for registration.
For example if a user registers to event, it get "Applied" or "Waiting for Approval" status. Owner of event has right to choose "Approve" or "Decline".
If he/she approves, that registration will have state "Completed". If capacity is full, than state will be "Waiting list". If declines that status will be "Rejected" or similar.

Maybe with an integrated "approve" and "decline" option (when appropriate) in the "Manage Registrations" -> "Registrations" table, alongside "view"|"edit"|"delete" that, when clicked, would perform the actions outlined by coolman7 above. This would streamline the workflow for registrations that require approval steps in the process, and add a little icing to the cake.
