An user can spend purchased credits toward other users or nodes, and the result of spending credits can be used with Rules actions. A couple of example uses include, but are not limited to:
- An user spends credits to influence site content such as in user voice.
- An user spends credits to join an group.

Commerce Credits depends on Entity API and Commerce Product modules. The Rules module is optional, but highly recommended in order to leverage Commerce Credits.
