After upgrading the module in the Editing mode, after adding the media URL, the thumbnail is generated properly. Upon saving, only the link active text is displayed , video plays in a new Youtube page, not in the Drupal node page. Is any additional configuration required?

eugeneak CreditAttribution: eugeneak commentedIt is a shame nobody responds. I'd like to use an opportunity to describe the issue in more detail.
Media:Youtube used to work this way: The embedded video player was placed in the node; the controls were available in the node; pressing the Play control would cause the video play in the node; the rest of the node content was visible in the node, such as text, images etc.
After the upgrade this functionality seems to ether disappear or require additional work. Instead of the embedded player, a link to the video URL is placed in the node. Clicking it would cause another page to open, a youtube page.
Please somebody take notice of this issue!

Devin Carlson CreditAttribution: Devin Carlson commentedI'm not able to reproduce this with a fresh install of Media: YouTube.
I'd suggest checking your file display settings for the video file type and whichever view mode you are displaying the file with to ensure that the "YouTube Video" formatter is enabled.
