Hello,

I am setting up several Rules with email actions and date-based scheduled component evaluation. How can I force the Rule to send the email to me as a test, before I activate the Rule?

It would be great to be able to see it as a preview too, even without sending a test.

Just enter your email address (i.e. snehal.addweb@gmail.com) in field "To" of "Send Email Action" and activate the Rule. This will send email to email address which you provide in "To" field of "Send Email Action".

snehal, that doesn't really address my issue. I understand that I can put my email address in the "To" field, but my question was "How can I force the Rule to send the email to me as a test, before I activate the Rule?"

You can use "Previewable email templates" module for your purpose.
