Colorbox login user malfunction

Hy!

I see that this issue is few years old and because it's not fixed yet I am really negative surprised.
I want to open the User login form with Colorbox (I am using "Colorbox node"). That's working perfectly as it should. But when it comes to the submission of the form, the thing stop working. I am getting the JSON text like these guys. A patch on that page is not working for me.. I can't even find the part where to put that line of code because I think I have different version of colorbox node like they have.
I applied THIS PATCH so now validation is working, but now submitting with enter is not working anymore and also I am using Login redirect module which is redirecting me after the login depends on destination parameter in the url, but this is broken now also.

Is there some solution that I can't find?
