Typed random questions: means we can chose some defined num of questions from every question type.
also we can choose to select from some defined categories, this is optional for this type.

we can generate a quiz like this:
1.10 from multichoice, 5 from long answer...
2.choose English category for questions.

we got a completed quiz including some question types for English then! it's usual in school's quiz.

You can already do this in Quiz.

There is an option on the Quiz configuration:

Randomize questions
-Categorized random questions
Categorized random questions - specific number of questions are drawn from each specified taxonomy term
