Hello!

Can someone help me figure out the best way to embed my newsletter into my website? Currently I'm using Issuu and it gives me an embed code and then I paste that in, but I don't like the way it shows up.

Is there a better Drupal module for newsletters? My newsletter is built with Constant Contact and I like the newsletter best when it's in the "web browser" version of the Constant Contact email. Does anyone know how to embed a Constant Contact email into a Drupal website?

Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks!

Yonah

PS - not sure what version of Drupal I have but it seems close to 7

Generally it is best to create a newsletter in the website then feed the data into the email service. Potentially you could work the other way round. You can feed the data automatically, or you can just copy and paste it. However, the version of the newsletter for the website and the version for email really need different styling if you want them to look good, even though the underlying HTML may be the same. This is because email clients and web browsers do not handle stylesheets in the same way.

There is a Drupal Newsletter module which is pretty good though less powerful than a dedicated service like Mailchimp. However, the issue of the browser and the mail clients needing different styling remains.

You can see which version of Drupal you are using from Reports > Status. If it is not a recent version (at least post 7.32 for Drupal 7) there is a strong chance the site has been hacked: some updates are important because they close security holes and 7.32 closed an especially big security hole, so you need to keep an eye on the version.
